The Process.
Wonder how your favorite quote becomes permanent on a piece of jewelry? Here's a look at my stamping process.
Letter sets include inidividual letters. This set includes numbers, too. i start in the middle of the charm or pendant, with the middle letter of the name or phrase.
Each stamp is lined up by hand. There are a few tricks I use to keep them as straight and even as possible, but I'm human and they don't always line up as perfectly as I want.
This is not a bad thing!
It adds to the unique quality of a hand stamped piece.

Once stamped, the letters need to be blackened.
After blackening and polishing.
This is the backside of the charm, and is why I prefer to NOT stamp on the back.
